A perfect time to learn a new skill and explore your creativity.
Please be aware that you will need to purchase (if you haven't already got)
500g black paverpolÂ
3mm plastic coated garden wire for armatureÂ
Cotton fibres for hair  (or wool)
Paverpol wrappers   Â
Wooden base Â
1 x florist tape          Â
Paverplast
You will also need: tin foil, cling film, cocktail stick, old cotton tshirt, bowl for hand washing, bronze metallic acrylic paint for highlighting. Â

Instructions on How to Make a Paverpol Dog
A tutorial with full digital instructions on how to make a paverpol dog, including step by step photographs of the process. This is slightly more difficult than my previous tutorials, so if you are a complete novice to the process then I would suggest starting with either the Elegant Figurine or the small balloon flyer tutorial. Am happy to be contacted if you're stuck or have any questions regarding any of my tutorials.
The instructions are based on the little generic dogs I usually make to go with my sculpture called "Serets" as it is a good starting point. It stands at approx. 5" tall. If you enjoy making this one, then you will have all the basics here to progress to a much larger one should you wish.
I have included variations, and advice for making larger dogs if you want to take the leap either straight away or for future projects.
